Hooloo sets out to explore new musical territory. Their sound has a rich, melodic and mellow texture combining Western pitches with African sonorities. Created from new ideas fuses traditional and contemporary sounds drawing from the Bauurbina rhythms and Bewa dance music. The compositions are created from a broad choice of starting points and followed a free and playful development, from Bozie's Afro-Reggae, Nana's experimental and Simon's filmic landscapes.
